Traditional Braces

Metal braces are the most common type of braces and they are more comfortable today than ever before. They are fabricated from high-quality stainless steel. With metal braces, you have the option of adding colored ties (rubber bands) at each adjustment visit.

Metal isn’t your thing? Ask our treatment coordinator about ceramic options. We have the right type of braces to fit your lifestyle and needs.

Things you should know:

  • Hygiene is extremely important during your orthodontic treatment but it is especially crucial to take care of your teeth and gums while braces are in place.

  • There are special tools that make keeping your teeth clean with braces a little easier. We will supply you with a starter kit on your first day.

  • There are some foods to avoid that may damage your braces. Ask our assistants to give you a list of the do’s and don’ts.

  • Orthodontic emergencies can happen. We are here to help. Check out our emergency page to know what to do!
